YWAm Chico

Mission Builders

If you have a heart for missions — and especially Youth With A Mission — come and join Mission Builders, our short-term volunteer program.

Mission Builders have played a major role in making the YWAM Chico campus what it is today. They serve our campus in many ways, assisting with everything from carpentry and maintenance to food services, grounds-keeping and secretarial work. Many of these wonderful volunteers come year after year because they’ve found it’s a challenging and spiritually refreshing experience — and a great way to make new friends from around the world.

If you’re over 18, in good health, and able to volunteer three weeks to three months of your time, come to Chico and become a Mission Builder.  Volunteers serve in various capacities 40 hours a week. We provide housing, as well as lunches Monday through Friday (when the kitchen is open).

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve missionaries or get a taste of YWAM, we would love to have you!

SOWERS

SERVANTS ON WHEELS EVER READY

One ministry that regularly sends us volunteers is SOWERs. This ministry is made up of retired or semi-retired Christians who have recreational vehicles (RVs). SOWERS provide short-term volunteer help to our campus.  Our ministry provides SOWERS with RV hookups, materials and supplies, special tools, and work supervision. SOWERS may stay at our campus for one week (following your three-week work commitment) with RV hookups, giving you the opportunity to see the local sights or just rest and relax.
