YWAM is an international, interdenominational Christian mission organization. Founded in 1960, YWAM now has centers in over 1,000 locations in over 149 countries. Its purposes include training and challenging Christians to fulfill Christ’s command: "Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations." YWAM Chico is a training base from which workers are sent out into all the world.
